Halifax Councillors start group cultural sensitivity training but the municipality is staying pretty quiet on the details.
It’s more than six months after they voted in favour of group cultural sensitivity training in response to code of conduct complaints against councillors.
The Star Halifax reports regional councillors had the first of two sessions of the training yesterday.
The Star reports the city was tight-lipped about what the training entails, and who was facilitating it and through a spokesperson the Mayor declined an interview on the training until the second session was completed on Friday.
