-Two robberies happened on Sunday in Dartmouth and Police are investigated to determine if they are connected.
A man entered the Shoppers Drug Mart on Wyse Road in Dartmouth just before 8 pm on Sunday, demanded prescription drugs, then took off.
He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, a ball cap, and sunglasses. No weapon was seen.
About an hour later, another robbery happened in a convenience store at 187 Windmill Road. The suspect attempted to get cash from both the register and the employee’s wallet.
The employee was assaulted and received minor injuries during the robbery. The suspect is described as a white man in his twenties with brown hair, who was wearing a white coat, black shorts, and sandals. The suspect left the area in a car.
Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
-Police and search and rescue teams are continuing to look for a missing 15-year-old girl whose bicycle was found by the Halifax airport.
Mackenzie Eagles was last seen on Sept. 23rd. She’s describe as a white female, 5’0 tall and 150 pounds, with dark blonde/ light brown hair and blue-green eyes. She was last seen wearing a navy blue sweater and carrying a dark-coloured backpack with yellow writing on it.
