-It looks like the Nova Centre will be open before 2017 is over….or parts of it at least. The developer says the Convention Centre section is on track to open this December.
The Convention Centre was originally supposed to be finished by January 2016, but that date soon became September 2016, then January 2017, then spring of 2017. When it was confirmed that date would not be reached, the December 2017 date was set.
Retail space is expect to be finished in the spring of 2018, and the Rogers Plaza will follow.
The hotel section will open sometime in 2018, and an announcement with the details of its name and ownership is coming within the next few weeks.
