If you’ve ever been to a music festival, you’ve seen the end result being discarded and lost property from many of the people that attended just scattered all over the place.
For Tim Burrows, who attended the Reading Festival in 2003, he lost his wallet unfortunately, but was notified on Facebook this week by a guy named Giles who asked, “Did you lose a wallet at Reading once?” to which Tim replied he had.
Giles admitted that he and his friend found it and stole the $13 that was in it to buy hard cider.
Guilt then kicked in and they decided to have a cider drinking contest that they dubbed, the “Timothy Burrows Drinking Challenge”. How sweet, eh?
It wasn’t just once, but they still hold this annual drinking challenge to this day and have invited Tim to this year’s challenge, and to repay him the $13.
In case you’re wondering, here are the t rules for the Timothy Burrows Drinking Challenge are teams of five people have a 4 litre jug of hard cider and chug it as quickly as possible.
