Kurt Cobain’s Daughter Loses His Famous Guitar in Divorce Battle

Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain and Hole’s Courtney Love has been battling her now ex-husband, Isaiah Silva, over one of her father’s prized guitars.

TMZ reports that now, six months after the divorce was finalized, Silva remains in possession of the rare and historic acoustic/electric 1959 Martin D-18 E. Only 300 models were made before the manufacturer discontinued it and Kurt Cobain had famously played the guitar on Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged album, making custom adjustments for the right-handed guitar to be played by a lefty.

The guitar is estimated to be worth millions of dollars and is said to be the last one Kurt played before he died.
