What did we get up to this week.. Can I even remember?!
Dear Diary: I Mean..
Captains log: Stardate June The 12th, 2016.
This week was an absolute RIOT! How do I even begin?
We started out Wednesday on a Ghost Walk of Historic Halifax, if you’ve never been it’s an absolute must! Tour guide Andy Smith who is an actor by trade gave a fantastic preformance that had me in stitches but also shakin’ in my booties! It was informative, captivating and at a pace that even the up most out of shape could keep up with! Andy runs tours Wednesday through Sunday at only 15$ per person and can be contacted at tattletours.ca
Next up was Beats n Eats an unreal event put on by Scout Camp, it combined music and food in a way I’ve never seen before, they had a Chef/DJ who was spinning the 1’s & 2’s but also serving up delicious food! OH and did I mention that there was also areial acrobatic preformances happening all at the same time? With multiple different preformers and acrobats plus some real gourmet grub Beats n Eats was a feast for the eyes, ears and mouth!
I know it’s only June however.. JULY TALK absolutely demolished the Live Hive! Probably one of the most exciting Live Hive’s we’ve ever had, the entire station was completely a buzz for them to be there. They put on a knock out preformance and had the crowd laughing with their responses to Jess interviewing them! Probably some of the nicest people I’ve ever met AND they signed a photo for me saying: Benoit we Love you – July Talk….. I can officially die happy!
Later on that same night we rocked it at Backlot Bash! What an interesting and unique event. They had it all really, axe throwing, keg bowling, food trucks, Pro Skates Halifax put on a skate demo not to mention a killer concert with preformances by The Brood, Three sheet, Alert The Medic and of course July Talk! All in all an amazing evening! Can’t wait to see what Garrison has in store for us next year!
Stay tuned for next weeks adventures!
