When its light out Lives out .. On the scene, LIVIN IT UP!
This week was spectacular! We couldnt have asked for a better time, it was sunny and brilliant all week long, hopefully the rest of the summer follows the trend!
We started off the week with a fathers day brunch at the Westin everythign a dad could ask for! they had an amzing assortment of food, a car wash, live entertainment and motorcycle giveways! This event was the perfect way to get your dad everything he truly deserves all in one stop!
Seeing as it was soooo beautiful out thursday we decided to kick it at the waterfront. posted up along the boardwalk in the Livin It Up Summer Cruiser we handed out a ton of prizes to any and all passers by who were diggin the Live 105 tunes we were pumpin’ out the speakers, showing it pays to be a Live Listener! Next we went to Point Pleasant and played washers in the shade, a great way to cool down after spending the whole day in the sun! Also if you beat me (which isnt a difficult task) you can score yourself some sweet station gear! Later that night we headed over to Jamieson’s Irish House & Grill to attend a benefit for Life Rolls On. There was live music, beer, and great food. The funds raised at the benefit are going toward an event called Surfable which will help those living with paralysis and other mobility disabilities learn how to surf.
Continuing with the crazy good weather, Friday we spent the entire day outside as well. Rising and shining if you will to an early morning BBQ at the grand opening of Choice Health Centers second location in Bayers lake, they had my mouth watering with food prepared by Master Chef top 10 contestant Andrew Al-khourie! Immediately after and on a full stomach we headed to the waterfront to HIT Up (Man.. the puns!) H2O Golf. Although I had no luck what so ever at North Americas biggest water hazard you should still check it out. If you score a hole in one you instantly win 500$!
Saturday was all about community and supporting local. The morning began with a fundraiser supporting Mikayla Marriott, National Canadian Miss Central Nova Scotia on her road to The National Canadian Miss Pageant in Edmonton Alberta. Followed by The Northwood West Bedford Community Party. WHAT A BLAST! They had everything: food, face painting, photo booth, carnival games, a bounce house and live music! Finally we headed to Historic York Redoubt for Field Day to help support The Halifax Amateur Radio Club as they tried to contact different ham radio opperators across the nation and over seas, it was a fun and informative way to cap off the weekend!
Check us out next week for all the fun and adventures The Livin It Up Summer Tour gets into! If you’d like us at your event let us know!
