Check out all the CRAZINESS we got into this week!
What an absolutely amazing week!
We started off on Sunday with our first uninvited guest winner Petrina who was having a “Slutty Garden Prom Party” so obviously we got all geared up to go! It was a spectacular time, the sun was shining and the birds were chirping! We played lawn games, provided all the guests with Plenty of beer from Propeller and Delicious food from Vines.
Natal Day was so bight and beautiful out we obviously had to hit the streets and connect with some Live listeners. We made our way down to the waterfront and played a couple games off bucket pong and gave away a ton of prizes!
Up next we went to one of the wildest wing give aways I’ve ever heard of… The guys down at Argyle are obviously wacky about wings because they gave away FREE WINGS FOR A YEAR to the first ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY PEOPLE that showed up!! Word on the street is they are doing it again this week…. sooooooo maybe check out the Argyle Bar & Grill this Wednesday and you could MAYBE score yourself free wings for a year.
Live 105 is all about the environment and recycling so Thursday we popped by the Youth Live Center which is a recycling plant and a ReGeneration drop off location for all of your used and old paint and house paint. We’re doing our part and its so simple you should do it too!
Friday we kicked the weekend off right at Halifax Seaport Beerfest‘s 10th annual event Beer on the Peir!
Spectacular turnout and a wonderful way to try some fantastic new beers! They had 110 vendors and over 300 products for you to sample literally a beer lovers dream!
Saturday was the event motherload!! We did it all, first we were in a parade for the Eastern Passage Cow Bay Summer Carnival! There were tons of floats, costumes and whats a parade without a marching band. Best costumes went to the Halcon Float and let me tell you it was well deserved! Next we went to an event that Had Elle from the street team floating.. The second annual Cat Fest at the Museum of Natural History. They had everything a cat lover could want or desire, toys, treats, a cat show and everything else feline you could imagine. After That we headed back to beer fest which in my opinion is the greatest way to start your Saturday night, soaking up some suds seaside in the sunshine! Next up we Headed to The Subway on Forest Hills Parkway to give out a ton of prizes and gift cards. It pays to be on the street with us so Stay tuned for Next weeks events and you could score yourself so sweet swag! -Benoit
