New Tool Will Make A Spotify Playlist From Any Festival In The Last 20 Years

When Coachella announced their 2016 lineup a couple days ago, it got me excited for the announcement of the lineups for the rest of the big summer festivals. But, what if you can’t afford to make it everywhere (or anywhere..) you want to go? Well, look no further than the Festival Playlister, which will take any festival from the last 20 years, and make you a playlist out of the artists that performed there. You can choose to either search the “mainstream” artists that performed at the festival OR you can choose from some more “obscure stuff”. Then, you can save the playlist directly to your spotify account. Just for a laugh, I typed in a festival I went to way back in 2008: The Festival of Lights in Charlottetown, PEI. All of a sudden, I was looking at a playlist of The Tragically Hip, Our Lady Peace, The Trews, Billy Talent, Collective Soul….and yes, even Hinder. I know what you’re thinking: what an incredible show! Well, it was, but so was this playlist, which took me right back to those nights 8 years ago!
