Pizza deliveryman Josh Cook, of St. John’s had his heavy metal music collection stolen last winter when thieves snatched his vehicle as he was dropping off an order at a home during a snowstorm.
The strange part of the story is that the car was returned to the same spot the next night, but his CD collection was missing. There was one CD left, Josh said “It was a good one too, a copy of Pride and Glory, early Zakk Wylde album, really good album actually.”
Josh said somehow Zakk Wylde’s son got word of what happened, and Zakk’s publicist got in touch with Josh to get his address, and they shipped out a huge box of Black Label Society music and merchandise. A few days later, another package arrived with Ozzy Osbourne’s entire solo discography, his albums with Black Sabbath, and a bunch of Ozzy swag – including a personalized, autographed picture.
“These guys, they don’t know who I am,” Cook says. “But they set me up with all this stuff. It’s amazing.”
