Sure it is Canada’s smallest province but Prince Edward Island but it is still a part of this great country. It is home to Anne of Green Gables, amazing golf courses and potatoes. Not to mention they have that great scheme of paying you to leave the island, brilliant way to try and increase the population by trapping tourists that spent all their money. However a couple of recent maps have omitted PEI from Canada.
One map located at the Vancouver Airport failed to include Prince Edward Island. The airport has said that the map will be fixed.
Perhaps even more outrageous was a t-shirt and onesie released by The Bay celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday. The map on the shirt did not include the birthplace of confederation. The items have been removed.
Maybe they just need a more risque marketing plan
