Chris Cornell passed away on May 18, 2017, and with the one-year anniversary coming up this Friday, the singer’s widow has announced plans for a public vigil.
The vigil will be held at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, where Chris was laid to rest. Vicky knows that not everyone will be able to make it to Los Angeles to participate, but she encourages those who were moved by the singer’s music to share videos about how Chris touched their lives. “We can feel your love no matter how far,” said Cornell. “Light a candle, say a prayer, speak his name. Loud love.”
Vicky Cornell invited fans to take part with her social media post, which can be seen below.
