Apparently even criminals are nostalgic for retro video games these days.
A guy named Julian Turner from Newnan, Georgia is a video game collector, and he bought two old school Nintendo games at a flea market earlier this month: “Golf” and “RollerGames”.
“Golf”was Nintendo’s standard golf game. “RollerGames” was based on a roller derby TV show called “RollerGames” that aired its one and only season in 1989 and 1990.
Anyway, when he got home, Julian noticed they were heavier than other games, so he opened them up with a screwdriver.
He found that each one had four little shiny bags of drugs inside.
He called the cops, and they came and took the games to investigate.
This is the crazy thing, the police say it’s entirely possible these games were part of an old smuggling operation and those drugs are 30 years old.
